Potenza
RF microneedling, tuned to your skin.
What Is Potenza?
Potenza is Cynosure's radiofrequency microneedling system. Ultra-fine needles create controlled micro-channels while delivering RF heat into the deeper layers of the skin, stimulating collagen and elastin far beyond what traditional microneedling can do. Unlike many RF microneedling devices, Potenza offers four RF modes (monopolar and bipolar, at two frequencies), letting us treat shallow or deep, focused or broad — and customize the treatment to your skin rather than running one setting for everyone.
What Does Potenza Treat?
Fine lines and wrinkles, acne scars, skin laxity (face, jawline, neck), enlarged pores, uneven texture and tone, stretch marks and crepey skin on the body. Safe for all skin types and tones, year-round.
The Fusion Tip: Infusing Active Ingredients Deeper
Potenza's infusion tip drives topicals into the skin as the channels are open — the same technology behind our Rejuran Infusion Facial. Available add-on infusions at Beauty Ranch: Rejuran PDRN ($600), Ariessence PDGF+ ($600), and Exosomes ($250).
What Is a Potenza Session Like?
Numbing cream for 30–45 minutes, then 30–45 minutes of treatment depending on the area. You'll feel warmth and pressure rather than pain. Expect redness like a sunburn for 24–48 hours and a glow that builds as collagen rebuilds over the following weeks. Most clients see best results with a series of 2–3 sessions, spaced about a month apart, with improvement continuing for up to six months.

Nurse Jamie's Potenza + Ultra Laser Stacking
A Beauty Ranch signature: Potenza RF microneedling combined with Lutronic's Ultra laser in one visit ($2,000) for resurfacing plus tightening — addressing acne scars, enlarged pores, fine lines, sun damage and dullness with minimal downtime. Very few med spas in Los Angeles own both devices.
Potenza vs. Morpheus8
Both are RF microneedling. Morpheus8 is the better-known name; Potenza's four RF modes and tip variety (including the infusion Fusion Tip) allow more customization across skin depths and skin types. The honest answer: device skill matters more than device brand — and our team treats some of the most photographed faces in LA. We chose Potenza for its flexibility.
Why Beauty Ranch
Located in Brentwood at 140 S Barrington Place, Los Angeles 90049, minutes from Santa Monica, Westwood, Pacific Palisades and Bel Air. Founded by celebrity skincare expert Nurse Jamie. Potenza sits alongside the largest collection of laser and energy devices under one roof in Los Angeles, so your plan can combine technologies most med spas don't have.
Frequently Asked Questions
How much does Potenza RF microneedling cost in Los Angeles?
At Beauty Ranch in Brentwood, Potenza starts at $1,200 per session, with a package of sessions at $2,500. Add-on infusions like Rejuran PDRN and exosomes are available.
What's the difference between Potenza and regular microneedling?
Regular microneedling creates micro-channels to stimulate collagen ($350 at Beauty Ranch). Potenza adds radiofrequency heat through the needles, reaching deeper layers for tightening and remodeling that needles alone can't achieve.
Is Potenza safe for darker skin tones?
Yes. Potenza is safe for all skin types and tones, and can be performed year-round.
How many Potenza sessions do I need?
Most clients do a series of 2–3 sessions about a month apart, with results building for up to six months as collagen rebuilds.
What is the downtime after Potenza?
Redness similar to a sunburn for 24–48 hours. Most clients return to normal activities the next day; makeup can usually be worn after 24 hours.
Potenza vs Morpheus8 — which is better?
Both deliver RF through microneedles. Potenza offers four RF modes and an infusion tip for treatments like Rejuran, allowing more customization. Results depend most on the injector's skill and treatment plan.
